PRESENTATION 1

PRESENTATION : 1 - 16 October 2014

The Heart-shaped group which consists of nine members (i.e., Aina, Larry, Rose, Kiah, Choo, Salmi, Ayu, Shidah and Ming) presented their lesson on Baba and Nyonya culture. The energetic, vibrant, dedicated and committed team delivered their lesson successfully by bringing in the students to the uniqueness of Baba and Nyonya community in Malaysia. They introduced the history, mouth-watering food, exquisite design of costumes and celebrations through interesting pictures via slides presentation. It has been an informative session to everyone indeed. Bravo!

For reflection, the audience agreed that the presentation was deliberately abundant with variation of content and activities, slides and visuals which were expressively presented that brought the micro teaching to be a great session on sharing teaching techniques among the educators.

As a note from home tutor Bill, a presenter would feel nervous to be in front of audience therefore he discovered the word ‘OK’ had been used quite a number of times in the presentation.  It is advisable for a teacher to be aware of this and try not to repeat using it too often in the teaching process.
